I was watching the Blue Dragon Awards the other day when Loveholics came on and performed "Butterfly" and since I had no idea I was so very pleasantly surprised, and especially more so because Alex looked really good, particularly his hairstyle..keke.
I don't know if it's just me but there's just something I find slightly lacking when I see Algoon in the red hair with his hairstyle on Strong Heart recently.
And it's not like I'm not used to it,but it did make me wonder what kind of haircut Alex will be sporting in the drama Pasta (which I cannot wait for,I LOVE the cast!!).Anyways,I was kinda dissappointed with Alex's portion on Strong Heart because I had this feeling like his part was edited out A LOT,and recalling back the article that was released before the show was aired, some of the things he talked about weren't aired at all.(and where was Horan's part??)*sighs*
And while I liked the fact the show was like a WGM mini-reunion of some sort(I mean Alex,Solbi,Andy,HwangBo and Hong KyungMin on the same show!) I wish HwangBo didn't say anything about "foot massaging";I mean I know she is a friend of Alex and perhaps she was just trying to make the situation funny, but the ad-libbing wasn't really necessary.Honestly,I thought there was nothing funny about it at all,and since nearly a year has passed since Alex left We Got Married,it's about time people should be able to move on from that. And since Solbi was also a friend of Algoon's and it's just so happpened that Solbi was sitting behind HwangBo,I watched Solbi's reaction when HwangBo said it and it seems like Solbi didn't find it amusing, and neither did Andy.I've watched all episodes of Strong Heart and since Solbi was on most of the eps I know that Solbi is great with "reactions" at all the right places when a guest is making a joke or telling a story, and I thought her "cool and un-amused" reaction this particular time was rather telling.
Moving on to other "shocking" things, how about that "shirt-ripping" performance by JjitTaec at the Blue Dragon Awards in front of all those actresses? When I recover from my shock, the only thing I could think about was Ha JiWon was also in the audience, and boy was I right..turns out Taec did it as a proof of his fanboy love for JiWon nuna..lol.

Listen To My Heartbeat
Just listened to it for the first time.To say I was surprised would be an understatement.
This is absolutely something new.Unheard before.Different.
Which is fine by me.The only problem I have with it?Jay's voice is missing.

You're Not Here
Like the stars lost hidden by the night
The path to walk on,not visible to me
I don't know where I'm going
Get me out of here, this bottomless abyss of heartache
When you are not here with me
Like the leaves fallen down and scattered on the ground
The strong waves returning to the hit the sands
Time and again
Let me out of here, this endless pain
Where you are not here with me
When you're gone,when you're not here
Loneliness imprisoned me
Time seemed to stretch too long
And I could never, would never ever
Forget you
The path to walk on,not visible to me
I don't know where I'm going
Get me out of here, this bottomless abyss of heartache
When you are not here with me
Like the leaves fallen down and scattered on the ground
The strong waves returning to the hit the sands

Let me out of here, this endless pain
Where you are not here with me
When you're gone,when you're not here
Loneliness imprisoned me
Time seemed to stretch too long
And I could never, would never ever
Forget you

So Empty.
This.
So wrong.
On so many levels.
Has it only been 35 days?
Cuz it sure felt like years.
They need Jay.
We need Jay.
*sigh*

Cutesy-ness,me likey!
lol cutesy-ness..is that even a word?*giggles*
Okay,so there's been lotsa cute scenes in k-dramas I've been watching recently, but these two takes the cake.I just have to make an entry for this. That's right,I'm talking about YooJin(Kim SoEun and HyunKyu(Yoo Ah In) of He Who Can't Get Married drama, the "not-quite-a-couple but somehow managed to convince me that they deserved this entry" couple..kekeke.
Yes,I KNOW that DongBaek and JiSoo of That Fool deserves a special mention for all the cheesy yet heartwarming,bone-melting lovey-dovey sweetness that they showered us viewers with, especially in the last few episodes.I'll admit here that when That Fool was coming to an end,I was soo reluctant to watch the ending just because I thought I need MORE lovey-doveyness from DongBaek and JiSoo,that was how sweet and enjoyable it was for me to watch those two.
So,why YooJin and HyunKyu?Well,in That Fool with GDB and HJS,the affectionate and almost saccharine cotton candy-like atmosphere was a given seeing as they were a couple completely in love with(bless those lovebirds!) and committed to each other, but with these two on He Who Can't Get Married,it's almost like they're not even trying.I'm sure a lot of us passed our early twenties doing this;casually dating while not exactly sure where we're going with it but enjoying the situation with that other person nonetheless. And this is where the YooJin/HyunKyu got me giggling like schoolgirl everytime a cute scene happens with them,it's the fact that the situation was not supposed to be romantic or cute by any means but somehow, or rather quirkily I must say,it indeed became a cute moment.
Oh yeah,I'm SoEul through and through, which makes it even more interesting and surprising to discover how much I'm enjoying YJ-HK interactions so far;I guess the credits goes to the two talented actors for their fluid acting capabilites and also their slowly but surely growing on-screen chemistry. And then there's their "cool" love connection - their story. He simply asked her to make a decision whether he's just another friend or if he's boyfriend material in one of their phone conversations, and to demonstrate her answer by the way they approach departing for a fun outing at the theme park.Like a friend said, not everybody in real life gets to experience love like they do in romantic movies(or K-dramas);no movements in slow-mo nor gorgeous melodic background music as an accompaniment,or fighting like cats and dogs everytime you meet that man until one day your hands accidentally touched and the sparks almost burn the clothes on your body, but rather it's just the unsuspecting exchange of phone numbers ritual, followed by several regular phonecalls and not-so-outstanding dates later, whaddaya know one day you just realized that hey, this could actually be The One.
I guess my point is it's interesting how the growth of the "relationship" of YJ and HK so far has been one which is not of the typical drama love storyline, and therefore it has managed to make me goes aawing and giggling for no real reason when I watch something cute happens between them.Their "relationship" or whatever it is that's going on is really nonchalant, cool and relaxed it's so much fun to watch when these moments happened.
He's had a week in hell at the office and weary to the bones, and the first thing he did when he actually had the chance to go out was to take the bus and went to see her. She's upset that he had been a complete failure at calls, texts etc with her that week, and was appalled at his idea that he should take the opportunity to rest on the bench in the park, and when he asked if she would lend him her lap to sleep on,her answer was immediate and it was in the negative. He lied down on the bench anyway and upon looking at how pathetic and tired he was,she grudgingly tells him to sleep on her lap.She acts like she's doing this out of pity and she's really embarassed to be doing it and he's really annoying her but we know she cares about him anyway. ;) And his reaction?
And that surprise kiss?Or was is actually a stolen kiss? That sneak HyunKyu.
After a long night of dramatic turns and unfortunate events, they finally have her house all to themselves and they're alone together, plus her adorable pet that is.She's looking pretty and being cute and that's giving him ideas.
There are possibilities that he's a smooth player who knows exactly what to do to get what he wants but then any normal,hot-blooded guy would've had the same ideas if he found himself alone with his sorta-girlfriend right? He distracted her with talking about something deep, and she's all focused on him,all big brown-eyed and innocently clueless.

She went berserk, upset that he had done what he did..and the bickering continued so on and so forth that night. But evidently whatever happened afterwards she was not as mad about it as we thought she might be because the next time we see them, they're together at his office, just hanging out.

They're talking and again he's leaning down closer to her face, talking about stuff..but this time she's alert and on to it..
